The Corner

I think the corner is turning into a magnet for strange folks. I have no doubt in my mind that a vast majority of them are homeless and have some type of dimentia. Take the gentlemen who made it a point to sit about a foot from me. He did nothing but laugh, even when he tried to light his cigarette and kept dropping the lighter. His empty liquor bottle was leaning up against my back pack making me very uncomfortable. I started to wonder what it would take for me to get to the state this man was in and thanked God I have my health and a family to go home to.
